Process Manager

Are you an established and experienced Process Manager who is looking for a new and exciting challenge? If so then look no further! A great and exciting opportunity has just come available for an Process Manager located near to Boston, Lincolnshire providing support and management for the production process and teams. You will be required to pro-actively work with the production teams to ensure that the products are produced on time and of a high quality and also endure safe working within the teams.
My client is well established within the FMCG sector and has a very good reputation within the market place. The ideal candidate will have experience in management within the food sector and have financial understanding and the ability to make sound commercial decisions.

·Salary - Up to £35,000.
·Hours - 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
·Area - Located near to Boston, Lincolnshire.
·This is a permanent full-time position.

Responsibilities - Process Manager

·Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed.
·Collaboratively work with different departments, e.g. technical, agriculture to ensure standards of quality, food safety, hygiene and housekeeping within the factory operation are appropriate to a quality food manufacturer.
·Work with all managers and Team leaders to implement the company's policies and goals.
·Proactively look at ways to improve the operation. The Process Manager is a key player in delivering the agreed factory capital expenditure plans within the agreed factory budget.
·To identify and implement ways to exceed budget expectations on both revenue and margin for the factory.
·Be involved in the selection process for direct reports. Responsible for the recruitment of the right calibre of people for levels below direct reports.
·Ensure that the people in the factory operation are managed in line with company procedures in all aspects of their employment, ensuring there is a positive employee relations culture where indicators such as grievances, absence, turnover rates are in control.
·Utilise appropriate agreed KPI's as a basis for the development of Performance Improvement Plans within the Factory Operation and cascade these KPI's through the Factory Operational Team, ensuring that they are translated and used at all levels.
·Plan, organise and measure resources to ensure that targets for production are met.
·Manage the full contribution of the factory team to the NPD process, ensuring that the manufacturing process is practical and effective and process/product costings based on actual/realistic factory performance are accurate.
·Continuously identify ways to reduce time spent on processes and implement new projects to streamline and adapt to new challenges.

Skills required - Process Manager

·Supervisory/Management experience within the food industry
·Proven demonstration of an investigative and problem solving approach
·Knowledge of factory procedures and the ability to anticipate and mitigate potential problems
·To maintain, and wherever possible, increase factory margins, achieve budgeted and forecasted targets
·Financial understanding, and the ability to make sound commercial decisions on product costing's and operational results
·Experience of cross-functional working
·Credible leadership style with the ability to manage, inspire, coach and develop individuals and teams
·Project management and lean manufacturing experience
·Able to deliver the very highest standards and work with openness, honesty and integrity
·Commercial acumen with the ability to turn plans into action and execution
·Able to communicate effectively at all levels
·Adaptable to change.
·Must be a commutable distance from Boston, Lincolnshire.
