Payroll Administrator
Pocklington YO43
£19000 - £24000
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a well established company based near Pocklington.
This role is a fixed term contract of one year minimum.
Commutable from Selby, York, Pocklington or Dunnington
Roles and responsibilities
We require an enthusiastic team worker with excellent communication, time management and organisational skills. You will be required to communicate with clients and work colleagues by email, telephone and in person. You will be self-motivated and able to work in a small team. Previous experience of working with payroll software is essential and a good working knowledge of a Microsoft office environment is vital. Other administrative and accountancy related tasks will need to be performed as part of the role and full training will be provided.
·Process weekly, two weekly, four weekly and monthly payrolls
·Furlough claim processing
·Auto-enrolment pension scheme administration
·Submit CIS Returns and payroll RTI reports to HMRC
·Client liaison
·Answer ad-hoc payroll queries from clients and staff members.
·Register clients for PAYE schemes with HMRC and cease PAYE schemes as required.
·Process new starters for our clients and provide P45 documents for clients with exiting staff.
·Submit pension declarations/re-declarations.
Fixed hours - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
28 days annual leave including bank holidays
Contract length: 12 months
