Working Hours: 40 hours per week between the hours of 8am-6pm

Purpose of Role

Reporting to the Merchandising Manager, the successful candidate will work within and support a small but busy Merchandising department. This role is based in the fashion retail industry and you will be an effective team member and work with minimum supervision, be self-motivated and able to use your own initiative. The role will touch on several other areas of the business - Buying, Wholesale, E-com, Marketing, Warehouse etc.

Main Responsibilities

  • Run daily stock reports and format using Excel.
  • Action ad-hoc stock adjustments for cross-function colleagues.
  • Other ad-hoc Merchandise admin tasks as required.
  • Set up new product details with 100% accuracy.
  • Load and send initial orders as indicated.
  • Place repeat orders with suppliers as indicated ensuring that required quantities and delivery dates can be achieved. Where agreement cannot be reached raise the issue for additional input.
  • Mark-up catalogues with sales figures within season.
  • Book stock onto the system once inspection is complete.
  • Obtain and check commodity codes from suppliers.
  • Provide the wholesale customers with images.
  • Load website information for wholesale partners.
  • Check products on wholesale customers website daily - check against stock levels and manage when styles are removed from sale.

Experience and Skills Required

  • Previous administration experience an absolute must, with the ability to multitask, prioritise workloads to ensure you meet your deadlines
  • A strong attention to detail skillset.
  • Great planning and organisational skills.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, such as Excel, Outlook, and MS Word.
  • Effective communication and people skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels inside and outside the business.
  • A love of going the extra mile as standard.
  • Thrive on variety of work.
