Title: Business Development Representative
Contract: Full Time/ Permanent (40 hours a week -flexible)
Location: Barnsley
Salary: £24,000 (+ Generous Commission Structure) 

Overview:

Our client is a well-established cleaning products supplier to all industries and are looking for a Business Development Representative to expand their business, canvassing the area of Barnsley. The role will involve booking virtual and face to face meetings to grow business relationships with new customers.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Business Development Representative:

  • Have great customer sales conversations whilst building B2B customer account base.
  • Setting up meetings with potential clients to demonstrate the range of products sold.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products, including cleaning chemicals, paper products and associated janitorial supplies.
  • The ability to engage and build excellent rapport with your customers face to face and virtually.
  • Source your own leads and create your own opportunities, deploying consultative selling techniques that build lasting relationships.
  • Travelling to various client locations, company van provided.

Requirements of the Business Development Representative:

  • A confident and well-rounded sales professional with previous experience within a similar role, such as account management or regional sales, selling in a B2B environment.
  • Proven track record in a target driven sales role.
  • UK Driving License is required.
  • The passion to take accountability for your goals.
  • Determination to succeed and support the business.
