Job Description

This is a varied role working with multiple suppliers and clients, alongside a dedicated team of people, all within a fun, friendly culture. You will be responsible for ensuring the team take ownership of cases through to resolution with accuracy, and within the agreed timeframe whilst providing support and guidance to the team as required throughout the day.

The client Services Team Leader will ensure a high level of service is provided by their team and will develop strong working relationships with the sales team to offer coordinated support to tm's customers.

Job Role

  • Work with the Client Services management team to develop best practice to maximise throughput opportunity.
  • Engage with your team to clearly communicate daily and weekly resource plan.
  • Through gap analysis, identify development needs & ensure all personnel receive necessary training.
  • Mentoring; Identify future prospects and support their development via continual upskilling in customer services through evaluation, development and training.
  • Ensure excellent communication via regular team meetings, 1:1 discussions etc.
  • Ensure the right calibre of staff are recruited, and in accordance with company policy and procedures.

  • Confident in leading the team to achieve agreed KPIs and service levels.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and telephone skills with ability to work successfully with others.
  • Oral Communication Skills - Able to communicate orally in clear, fluent way in individual/group situation.
  • Strategic Perspective - Appreciation of broader implications of own work & long term effect on others.
  • Resilience - Able to remain calm, stable and in control in the face of setbacks.
  • Flexibility - Able to adapt to changing demands & circumstances.
  • Technical Skills & Competence - Able to learn & cope with the technical demands of the job.
  • Able to lead staff and measure departmental time and activities to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent problem solving ability.
  • Demonstrates a keenness & commitment to achieve quality & high standard.
  • Able to coach, motivate and support individuals to deliver a high level of performance.
  • Ready to make decisions, take initiatives and originate action.
  • Commitment to record and resolve errors, highlighting to the individual concerned in a constructive manner.
  • Lead by example and be present for the department whilst taking ownership of daily challenges.
  • Knowledge of the conveyancing process is desirable but not essential.
