The Role – An opportunity has arisen for a Sales & Customer Service Advisor reporting to the Sales Director.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience in a similar role. Working in a small team and they are looking for someone who can be flexible and willing to get involved in all aspects of Customer Service, can prioritise workload and meet deadlines with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities of Customer Service Advisor

  • Manages reception area and looks after visitors
  • Answers phone calls and transfers them as necessary
  • Manging diary for conference room meetings, booking rooms, and planning refreshments
  • Hotel Bookings for various functions
  • Taking orders / enquiries over the phone from customers and sales reps
  • Inputting orders onto the system
  • Inputting production data
  • Requesting prescriptions for any medicated feed for farm animals – liaising with vets and inhouse nutritionists to cover any issues with medication
  • Using in house computer system to create new and update customer accounts / entering end of month stock take and daily data input of feed production
  • Assisting in all aspects of day to day administrative tasks and maintenance of administrative systems, policies and procedures to enable the company to operate effectively and efficiently to provide high level administrative support.
  • Maintains stock and orders office supplies as needed

  • Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise effectively and work under pressure
  • A good strong work ethic with the ability to show initiative, work on their own and as part of a team
  • Computer literate
  • Attention to detail
