Location: Preston

Salary: £19,000 per annum + generous bonus scheme + benefits 

 Customer Service Advisor - German Speaking

Main Responsibilities

  • Managing all aspects of the key accounts including chasing arrears, negotiating payment terms, taking payments, and providing advice on avoiding blacklisting
  • Managing all customer communication including assisting with queries via email and telephone, letters, and text message
  • Completing customers' requests including refunds and account changes etc or escalating the case in a timely manner
  • Adhering to data security rules at all times ensuring customers personal details remain protected
  • Reconciling accounts and conducting investigations
  • Translating between departments and customers with high accuracy
  • Providing excellent customer service, keeping call quality to a maximum and handling complaints in a calm, professional manner

Experience and Skills required

  • Previous experience working within a Customer Service/Contact Centre environment
  • Fluent in speaking German, able to translate easily between German and English
  • Able to remain calm when handling complex scenarios, escalating issues to the relevant department where necessary
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
