Drainage Installation Engineer

Location: New Malden

Salary: £55,000 Salary is dependent on experience

A fantastic opportunity for a Drainage Installation Engineer to join a well-established company to carry out refrigeration and air conditioning installations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the installation of drainage installation engineers to planned contract works.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with Sub-Contract Drainage Installation teams.
  • Compile’s parts lists
  • Manage contracting drainage team engineers
  • Attend site visits and surveys to determine and agree scope of works when required.
  • Assist the National Installation Manager with planning and programming requirements.
  • Provide a pictorial and descriptive step by step process for service engineers to assist in problem solving condensate issues including condensate pumps.
  • Carry out Reactive drainage calls and PPMs - Subject to Agreement.
  • Complete all required paperwork for each Project /Project Completion reports.
  • Guide, train, and mentor other drainage engineers.
  • Maintain the highest skills to diagnose faults and rectify faults both speedily, efficiently and be expected to have competence in both practical and theoretical knowledge.
  • Motivate the drainage engineers to work in an efficient and economical manner.
  • Always ensure Health & Safety compliance by all staff in the working area under your control.
  • Responsible for time, quality, and performance of installation undertaken.
  • To assist in finding new engineers and encouraging engineers to join the business.
  • Maintain installation standards is carried out in accordance with the project scope of works and programme.
  • Assist the National Installation Manager with planning and programming requirements.
  • Comply with the Company’s Health & Safety, Environmental and ISO processes and procedures.
  • Promote and represent the Company’s image in a professional manner.

Experience and Skills required

  • Previous experience of drainage installation and good installation practice
  • Good technical and communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work unsupervised and use initiative
  • Construction Skills Certification Scheme Card
  • Current Driving licence
  • Manual Handling
  • Asbestos Awareness
  • Working at Height & Ladder Safety
  • Mobile Tower Scaffold (Prefabricated Access Suppliers Manufacturers Association)
  • Health & Safety Awareness
  • Risk Assessment Certificate
  • First Aid at Work
  • SMSTS or SSSTS Certificate
