The Firm

Incredible opportunity for a Family Paralegal to work for one of the best firms in Gloucestershire. The firm are very well known in Gloucester and the Cotswolds due to several successful mergers throughout the years. They have developed into a firm which its clients can trust and have a great network of connections throughout the region.

The Family department deals with complex and sensitive issues in the local area from their offices in Stroud and Gloucester. They are on the Family and Children panels, members of Resolution and also have several accredited specialists within the firm.

The Role

This regional & traditional firm are now looking to strengthen their Family department with the addition of a Family Paralegal.

The team focus on the full spectrum of family law including divorce, financial arrangements, pre-nuptial, post-nuptial & cohabitation agreements, arrangements for children and parental responsibility, protection from violence/abuse, care proceedings, adoptions and private client disputes from family issues.

The team is very strong, and they have a modern, collaborative environment which entrusts their employees to work with little supervision. Their open office and open-door policy mean that Paralegals can ask Solicitors, Associates, and the Head of Family for advice whenever they need. The firm asks for hard work, loyalty and excellent communication and client care skills in return.

This role will give the successful candidates experience in fee earning and time recording.

Candidates with previous experience in Family Law as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates with Family Legal Aid experience will also be considered.
