Role: Family Senior Associate (Progression to Head of Department)

Hawk 3 Talent are working with a brilliant Legal 500 recommended law firm in Leamington Spa on one of the best Family Associate vacancies we have seen this year.
This regional firm are looking for a Head of Department but have now opened the position to ambitious Family Associates / Senior Associates with experience in Private Family Law and at least 5+ PQE.
This is an extremely important position bought about by the current Head of Department and Family Director becoming more involved with the business support side of the firm. She will be on hand to provide full training and development for the right candidate.
You will have autonomy to manage a team of 7 experienced individuals including 3 Paralegals and four experienced Family Solicitors in Private Family Law.
The team focus on.
- Divorce and civil partnership dissolution
- Financial settlements on divorce
- Children - living arrangement and other issues
- Children - financial provision
- Asset/wealth protection - living together agreements
- Domestic abuse
As well as having some responsibilities for billing you will have day to day control of the department and undertake financial control and management of budget and performance within the team.
Excellent opportunity to also get involved with recruitment, marketing and the expansion of the reputation of the department.
