Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are working with a fantastic High Street firm in Sittingbourne, Kent to search for a Head of Litigation to join and lead the team.
Due to an internal change, a great opportunity for a motivated and ambitious Solicitor to join and lead a department is available.
The firm is well known in the area and has a large Litigation team which handle a variety of interesting cases. They have a great client base which stretches across the South East of the UK, London and beyond. They have a sterling reputation for giving pragmatic advice and achieving the best possible outcomes for their clients.
The firm has been established for over 150 years and prides themselves on offering City level advice at more affordable rates.
The firm is looking for a Head of Litigation (70/30 Commercial/Civil) to run a department and help the firm reach its expansion goals.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor/Senior Associate/Partner with some additional knowledge of Civil Litigation. The caseload has a high quality of work for the size of the firm and includes defamation, insolvency, debt recovery, professional negligence, and general commercial litigation. A candidate experienced in a number of these sectors of law will be strongly preferred.
There is also an element of management in this role and the successful candidate will lead a team of 10 Civil and Commercial Litigation Solicitors (and Support Staff). Previous management experience is strongly preferred but not essential as training can be provided.
