HR Advisor/Business Partner (Generalist)

The Company

A company who has a  growth plan in place to have around 180 people on site by December with a new site of 5000 sq ft.  This will be an exciting opportunity for someone to come in and make the HR role their own.

The Role

  • To manage HR/ER related operational activity, eg; absence management, dealing with employee relations or policy issues.
  • To coach and guide site leadership in the best people practice to include talent management, engagement and welfare

Duties

  • To ensure all HR processes associated with the employee are effectively managed and recorded to include, Recruitment, disciplinary and grievance, absence management, performance management, the review process and talent management, changes to terms and conditions
  • To maintain a suite of HR metrics, absence, turnover, internal progression and recruitment costs
  • To provide guidance to managers and team members on relevant processes and best practice

  • To manage, control and implement new processes

Skills/Knowledge/Experience

  • Previous experience with a HR role within a Logistics environment
  • Great relationship building skills
  • A sense of humour
  • Accessible and approachable – be ‘hands-on’
  • Be able to understand metrics, data and evidence to help drive decisions
