Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are operating as an employment agency on behalf of its client.

Permanent

Location: Barnsley

Salary: Competitive 

Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 08:30am – 17:00pm, Monday – Friday 08:30am – 16:00pm

Main Responsibilities

  • Providing excellent customer service to international customers via email and telephone, ensuring needs are fully understood and any issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Acknowledging and processing orders in line with ISO9000, amending orders where necessary and responding to queries and quotes
  • Maintaining accurate stock files, overseeing the allocation of stock, and highlighting any expected high peak periods to ensure stock is readily available
  • Advising on despatch dates and order status, closely monitoring lead times
  • Completing exportation paperwork accurately and organising the movement of goods overseas
  • Assisting with invoice queries and credit requests
  • Identifying continuous improvement opportunities, building strong relationships with customers, and growing key accounts
  • Being aware of the current market and customer trends, reporting any upcoming customer projects to maximise opportunities
  • Working closely with the Sales team to drive the business forwards by securing new accounts

Experience and Skills required

  • Previous experience working in a similar customer focused role with a proven track record of providing high levels of customer service
  • Previous experience of processing sales orders and handling invoices
  • Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Highly organised with a strong attention to detail
  • Sound knowledge of IT packages including Excel
  • ITOPS qualification is desirable
