Salary: up to £30,000

Working Hours: Monday – Friday (office Hours)

IT Analyst

Main Responsibilities of the I.T Analyst

  • Provide timely response to all incidents, outages and performance alerts
  • Recognise, identify and prioritise incidents in accordance with business requirements, organisational policies and operational impact
  • Collect and review performance reports for various systems, and report trends
  • Monitor and support a wide variety of information and network systems that include, but are not limited to telecommunications circuits, LAN/WAN systems, routers, switches, VoIP system, servers, storage, operating systems and core applications
  • Document all actions in accordance with standard company policies and procedures
  • Notify customer and third-party service providers of issues, outages and remediation status.
  • Perform basic systems testing and operational tasks (installation of patches, network connectivity testing, script execution, etc.)

Experience and Skills required

  • Excellent Windows 10 skills
  • Microsoft Office application support experience
  • Experience in Trend Micro software and appliance management would be advantageous
  • Experience of Microsoft Exchange 2010, Windows Server 2012r2, Active Directory, Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager, VMWare and Microsoft Skype for Business beneficial
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Mobile device management and setup including Apple iOS
  • Must work well in a team as well as independently
  • Attention to detail and good time management skills
  • Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate to none technical audience
  • Required to work occasionally outside of normal working hours
  • Flexibility to work remotely when needed
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related areas
  • Full driving licence
