Contract: Permanent
Hours:
Monday – Friday – 08:00am- 17:00pm
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Up to £25,000

 

Overview:

The role involves conducting primary and secondary data, sourced from customers, third parties and inhouse information to interpret and implement ideas to impact revenue and consumer engagement. Working alongside the sales, product development and marketing teams, research will be relayed to created growth and positive impact on the company. Duties & Responsibilities of the Market Research Analyst:

  • Analyzing data from multiple sources.
  • Writing and collaborating as part of a team as well
  • Analysis of existing client data to provide insights into new possible markets
  • Generation of reports and which include actionable insights and distilling key messages for inclusion
  • As part of the above, presentation of new target markets to managers
  • Management and monitoring of data, such as sales trends, marketing trends, pricing strategies, etc
  • Provide input to marketing teams on marketing campaigns and sales teams on new leads with data insights such as keyword research volumes, CPMs, CPCs per media network, etc

You will develop valuable intelligence to support a wide range of activities, via secondary research, as well as primary market research, such as:

  • Market research and business information reports
  • Business decisions
  • Power tool innovation project development
  • Market feasibility assessments
  • Market technology assessments
  • Economics considerations
  • Local, national and international stakeholder identification and engagement
  • Strategic communications, PR and marketing activity

Requirements of the Market Research Analyst:

  • Knowledge of martech.
  • Keen interest in market trends sources from News outlets, trade publications, and consumer indexes.
  • Commercial consumer research experience applying industry-standard tools in at least one of the following sectors: Consumer, FMCG, Packaging, Power Tools.
  • Demonstrable experience in designing, administering, and conducting research.
  • Project/programme management experience, strong analytical, presentation and report writing skills.
  • Experience of managing external research recruitment and survey partners to ensure accurate and timely delivery of requirements for multiple concurrent projects.
  • Comfortable responding to colleagues with exceptional telephone and face-to-face manner.
  • Willingness and ability to travel nationwide and overseas.
  • Experience in a Market Research Role

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2:1 or higher degree in marketing or business.
  • Microsoft Office
  • Presentation skills & be able to break down comprehensive data into infographics for internal audiences
  • Good analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • European language skills is desirable.
