Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are operating as an employment agency on behalf of its client, who are looking for an Production Planning Administrator

  • Location: Exeter
  • Hours of work: Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm
  • Salary: £18,740

 

Summary:

Reporting directly to the Production Planning Manager the purpose of this role is to ensure the timely delivery of all related work to meet customer expectations. Working closely with all members of the Planning, Production & Purchasing teams, to ensure that works order delivery and safety stock is maintained. Support other areas of the Planning team during periods of sickness and holiday absence.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Receive deliveries into Sage of Purchased Parts delivered to Metal Shop
  • Receive deliveries into Sage of Packaging Parts delivered to D Units. To be completed within one working day
  • Ensure that all Delivery Discrepancy reports are forwarded to the relevant Buyer on the same day as the date of arrival
  • Order of Packaging materials required in accordance with associated Work Order Pick List
  • Ensure Out Work Sub-Assemblies are paired to relevant Work Orders
  • Co-ordinate the system transfer of inspected stocks from their goods in locations to their final storage locations
  • Issue Pick Lists of parts required to complete Work Orders to Stores for picking
  • Co-ordinate the system transfer of components issued from their stores locations to the appropriate Production, Assembly line or other Bin to Bin locations
  • Ordering Work Wear for all employees
  • Ordering equipment and consumable materials as required by Assembly and Metal Shop departments with budgetary constraints
  • Recording Write off stock adjustment on Sage
  • Printing Route cards for Assembly
  • All other duties as may reasonably be requested by the Production Planning Manager and Production and Purchasing Director

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Manufacturing Industry experience
  • Experience of computerised resource planning and stock control systems (desirable)
  • Team player with good communication
  • Dynamic and proactive
  • Numerate with accurate attention to detail
  • Excel skills
  • Flexibility to carry out a wide ranging role
