Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are currently recruiting for two quality support technicians for our client based in Corsham who are undergoing a period of rapid growth.

Job Type: 1 year FTC (Permanent contracts available after one year depending on performance)
Location: Corsham
Hours of work: Two shift patterns available both fixed Monday-Friday. 0600-1400 or 1400-2200
Salary: Salary is negotiable depending on experience

Summary:  The Quality Support Technician is responsible for actioning activities required to meet Quality /Medical device and IVD Standards and regulations. They will support and advise on the application of the quality management system within the production environment

Key Responsibilities:.

  • Ensure production personnel adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), thus complying with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure inspection data is recorded, summarise re-works and wastes and input these into the appropriate database.
  • Assist the Shift Manager in ensuring that all production personnel are fully qualified and competent to carry out their roles, especially inspection functions.
  • Carry out checks to ensure that SOPs reflect current practice and fit for purpose
  • Liaising with those responsible for Document Control, review, and amend SOPs as required,
  • Identify and propose process improvements that enhance quality and production efficiency.
  • Carry out internal auditing, feed results back to relevant departments, assist in the development of resolutions and follow through audit actions to completion.
  • Carry out daily activities in line with the Company’s policies, procedures, and processes, updating appropriate records and performing appropriate transactions.
  • Keep the Quality Systems Lead Supervisor informed of any significant changes in any areas related to the role.

In addition to the main duties there will also be other job-related tasks that will need to be actioned by you to support the running of the Company. These duties will form a less significant part of the role.

Education and Experience:

  • Have strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong accuracy.
  • Be able to remain calm under pressure and achieve KPI’s
  • Be able to prioritise workload and work effectively.
  • Have relationship building skills, with the ability to collaborate
  • Experience within a similar role would be beneficial
