Sales Support Administrator                      

York and Malton outskirts YO62


Hours of work 8.30am – 5pm or 9am – 5.30pm Full Time

Commutable from York, Malton, Hovingham, Stillington, Sheriff Hutton, Easingwold, Helmsley and Pickering.

My client will also consider applications for candidates that would like to work around school hours or part time.


Main Purpose of Job

  • To confidently process  order requirements for customers
  • Administer the sales order process from order to despatch, to ensure maximum productivity, customer satisfaction and efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and utilise a sound knowledge of our product ranges and services available
  • First point of contact for orders
  • Take full accountability for administering the sales order process from initial order to delivery/collection
  • Perform data entry with speed and precision
  • Pro-actively build customer relationships, working to exceed customer expectations at all times
  • Work effectively and supportively with the sales, buying, transport and production teams, along with the operational team to achieve effective scheduling of orders in line with customer expectations and business efficiencies
  • Fully utilise all available internal systems to ensure the customer order is always accurate
  • Handle all customer issues and complaints in a sensitive and timely manner, elevating as and when appropriate
