Role: HR and Payroll Operations Manager

Location: Ashburton Hybrid (also Home based)

Salary: £48 - £53K

Working Hours: 35 Hour Week

Description.

To manage all HR operational people processes, policies and procedures including HR administration and payroll.

To deliver an effective and efficient HR operational service which supports the delivery HR services.

To develop and establish a robust HR operational plan including the delivery of an outsourced payroll service, employee on-boarding and provide value adding HR metrics, reports, and analytics.

To ensure compliance with GDPR legislation, HMRC guidance and any other relevant statutory requirements.

About You.

Demonstrable experience of working in a leadership or management level role in Human Resources.

Demonstrable experience of working within an HR Operations and payroll function.

Experience of managing an outsourced payroll provider.

Experience of working with Midland HR's iTrent system, desirable (or similar).

Some HR project management or lead experience.

Proven ability to use Microsoft Excel to set up spreadsheets, analyse and process data to illustrate salary costs and forecasts.

Excellent Microsoft Office skills.

Results focussed with the ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining a focus on professional standards.

An ability to quickly foster excellent relationships at all levels, inspiring direct reports, and their teams.

Good communicator with the ability to negotiate and influence.

Sound planning and organising ability, and good attention to detail.

A good understanding of all Statutory requirements regarding HR Administration.

Good working knowledge of HR Administration procedures and employment law.

Good level of knowledge around management of a payroll function and understanding of payroll legislation and requirements.
