Are you an experienced Transport / Warehouse Operations Coordinator looking for a new and exciting opportunity to join an established business going through an extended period of growth ?

Based at a brand new depot, you will help create the positive culture and structured operation that is key to delivering an excellent service.

Overview

The post holder will provide an efficient and effective service to customers by ensuring that the standards of quality and compliance are maintained at exceptional levels throughout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure contractors onsite to complete work, follow correct procedures in relations to RAMS
  • Ensure permits to work records are maintained
  • Report vehicle collisions/accidents to PRIME system
  • Ensure site complies with landlord rules and company policies and procedures are strictly adhered to
  • Using a maintenance planning tool, ensure the business meets the requirements of maintenance programmes
  • Ensure that all MHE is maintained, serviced and that operator licences are kept to date
  • GDPR Compliance - ensuring the organisation is fully compliant with all standards and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure all company HR procedures are adhered to including standards of behaviour & provision of support with investigations.
  • Maintain training database and matrix
  • Carry out induction of new starters
  • Monitor staff absences and BF reporting
  • Assist with Internal/External audit preparation
  • Prepare weekly charging sheets prior to issue
  • Track site costs and spending
  • Raise site purchase orders
  • Maintain and update T&A payroll systems

Key Requirements

  • Experience of working in stand-alone position
  • Excellent communication and inter personal skills
  • Able to create and deliver presentation material and analyse data intermediate Excel and MS office package experience
  • Proactivity - Demonstrates the ability to take initiative in the absence of instruction, seeks opportunities to improve all aspects of the business.
  • GCSE' in Mathematics and English.
  • CPC Qualifications an advantage
