Permanent Stores Co-ordinator

Location: Ilminster

Hours of work: 39 hours Monday to Friday

Salary: £18,252

Key Responsibilities:

      Checking of goods received against the relevant purchase order

Maintain accurate Stock records

If goods require internal inspection, process on Syspro

Booking in of items received by goods inwards on MRP system, whether ordered by Procurement Department or free issued to customer

Dispensing of consumable items and bill of material items to production personnel

Recording of issues of stock on MRP system

Loading and unloading of goods by use of fork-lift truck (when trained)

Maintenance and filing of paperwork records

Practice stock rotation to ensure that goods are used within their shelf-life

Managing the OOL List in accordance with company process

Inform suppliers of incomplete or unacceptable deliveries for non-quality related issues (Quality, paperwork, Packaging)

Kitting of bought out items against MRP

Managing the Quarantine of goods in accordance with our QMS

Monitoring equipment for safety and functionality within area and reporting any issues to Site Procurement Manager

Booking in of finished goods

Locating goods in required location in-line with Syspro

Locating finished goods for despatch in line with picking list

Packing finished goods in line with company process

Liaise with despatch clerks weights and dimensions of packages for despatch

Experience, attributes & skills sought:

 

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Experience of using an MRP system (desirable but not essential)

Good practical skills with a high level of manual dexterity

Good concentration levels and attention to detail

Strong organisational skills

The ability to follow written and verbal instructions and accurately keep records

Must be reliable, have the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
