Job Title: VAT Senior/Consultant

Location: Exeter office / Hybrid working

Job Type: Permanent / Full time

Hours: 36.25 hours - 5 days per week (Flexible working)

Salary: Up to £35,000

We are looking for a VAT Senior/Consultant to join us on a permanent basis in our Exeter office (with hybrid working also available). The successful candidate will work closely with the VAT Partner delivering first class advice on a broad range of VAT matters and will contribute to the development of this fast growing team with excellent career progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provision of VAT advice to clients, colleagues and partners across our 17 offices, this could be via telephone calls, at client meetings, or by email, letter or a report
  • Assisting clients with HMRC VAT enquiries
  • Dealing with queries from other professionals as part of our VAT consultancy service
  • Preparation of marketing material and involvement in business development, this may include attendance at networking meetings and events
  • Assisting the VAT Partner with the running of the team, including monitoring work in progress, debtors and billing

This job description summarises the main duties and responsibilities of the post, but the postholder may be required to undertake other duties and projects of similar level and responsibility
