Business Development Executive

Permanent

Yeovil

Up to £35,000 Basic + realistic OTE

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 9am -5pm (Office Based)

On behalf of our client we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling brand awareness services to established businesses. You will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, developing, and executing sales strategies, and meeting/exceeding sales targets. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Main Responsibilities of the BDE      

  • Source and qualify sales leads, meet and sell to prospective customers
  • Conduct and identify companies within the market through market research and social media
  • Meet existing customers and identify account growth opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records and administration
  • Represent the business positively to become a brand ambassador
  • Hit and exceed sales targets and Key Performance Indicators
  • Work collaboratively as part of the wider sales team and other departments

Experience and Skills required

  • 3-4 years experience within B2B sales, particularly within subscription/service solutions
  • Ability to generate and develop new client relationships face to face and virtually
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPI Expectations
  • Excellent written and oral English skills
  • Able to source leads and qualify them over the phone
  • Degree level qualification (an advantage but not essential)
