PAYROLL ADVISOR / MAIDSTONE - HYBRID WORKING OPTIONS AVAILABLE

Location: Maidstone, ME20 / Hybrid

Job type: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00am - 17:00pm

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions, operating as an employment agency, are currently recruiting for a Payroll Advisor based in Maidstone due to a growth within our clients business, on a permanent full time contract.

We are ideally looking to speak with candidates with 5 years' experience within payroll and ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel well.

This position is based within Maidstone, however internally our client has two teams across the North and South and the role will involve working remotely with colleagues based in other locations.

Duties & responsibilities:

      Manage an allocated portfolio of payro9ll clients, working within a team to met deadlines

Ensuring the accurate running of monthly, weekly, 2 weekly and 4 weekly pay runs

Ensure the internal payroll system is accurate and up to date across all client records

Liaise with clients via telephone and email, providing advice and guidance on all matters relating to payroll

Remain competent with HMRC guidance and updates and where necessary liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients

Dealing with allocated incoming and outgoing post

Printing and scanning of documentation including payslips, P45   's and P60's

Uploading monthly pension contributions via online provider portals

Processing BAC's payments

Attend allocated new business client meetings via telephone or face to face

About you:

      Must have an understanding of payroll off screen and know the calculations behind payroll

CIPP qualification is advantageous but not essential

5 years payroll experience

Ideally experience in payroll bureau, but will consider applicants who work on internal Payroll and looking to broaden experience

Ability to work well within a team and under pressure

Accurate numeracy is essential

Competent with the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
