Motor Claims Handler

Permanent, full-time.

Location: Flexible with location as remote working 4 days per week, 1 day in Norwich office. Great transport routes with the train station 2 minutes away from the office.

Salary: negotiable up to £27K per annum depending on experiene

Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced motor claims handler to join their growing team. This role is a full claim management position from start to finish of accidental damage including total loss claims and theft investigation on behalf of motor insurers.

Our client is a specialists in technical claims handling using the latest technology platforms to support and enhance our truly personable provision. They pride themselves on working in harmony with all their supply chain partners, ensuring they get the client back to a perfect pre-accident condition at the earliest opportunity.

The executive team have a combined experience within the insurance industry of 80 years. As a business they pride themselves in offering high levels of customer service and driving to change the perception of motor claims and provide top level customer service and commitment to our clients and supply chain.

Job responsibilities:

      Manage allocation of customer claims, involving elements of both customer, third parties and suppliers.

Work with colleagues, departments, suppliers and third parties to complete full investigations.

Provide a first-class service, showing empathy, understanding and compassion when our customers need us most.

Reviewing quantum of third-party damages (both vehicle and property).

Be capable of validating claims against policy information to ensure Indemnity verified.

Applying accurate reserves based on the facts presented in the incident for own damage and 3rd Party in accordance with the reserving criteria.

Experience & person fit:

      Proven experience within motor claims is essential for this role

Strong communications both written and verbal as queries will be via phone and email

The ability to work to deadlines and under pressure

Be self-motivated due to the remote working aspect of the role
