LEARNING, DEVELOPMENT & TALENT ACQUISITION OFFICER - FLEXIBLE LOCATION

Location: Based out of any Devon or Somerset office with hybrid working options available

Office locations: Weston-Super-Mare, Burnham-On-Sea, Bridgwater, Somerton, Seaton, Honiton, Exeter, Crediton, Tiverton, Torquay, Plymouth, Okehampton, Holsworthy, Bideford and Barnstable

Job type: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday 36.25 hours per week, part time hours also considered

Salary: £24,000 - £27,500 per annum

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions, operating as an employment agency, are currently recruiting for a Learning, Development & Talent Acquisition Officer to join our clients accountancy practice based at any of their offices (although travel to other offices would be required) with hybrid working options available.

The successful candidate will support the Head of HR with day-to-day Learning Development for all non-trainee team members, wellbeing and recruitment.

Main duties & responsibilities:

      Design and delivery of face to face and online training

New starter and annual refresher training and coaching on DEI, communication, telephone skills, selling, exceptional services and customer / client interaction skills

Business acumen, time management and organizational skills training

Generic IT training including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams

AI compliance training

Weekly training coordination and delivery

Assist Head of HR with training design and delivery

Delivery of ad hoc soft skills training projects

Support in the planning, organization and delivery of annual whole firm training days

Training administration including course bookings for qualified level upwards

Ownership of firm CPD process and organization of verifiable training

Ongoing and annual review of external training providers

Wellbeing training delivery and coordination including weekly wellbeing

Weekly recruitment cover and in the absence of the HR and Talent Acquisition Officer

Mental health first aid coordination

Coordination of working from home agreements

Access to own transport to be able to work flexibly out of other offices

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent coaching and training skills

Strong level of knowledge with Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams

Able to develop and support team members

Strong generic IT and presentation skills

Ability to present information effectively and accurately

Recent experience in coaching or training individuals and groups both face to face and online

IT, coaching or training qualification would be beneficial
