Job:  Telesales Specialist

Location:  Warrington 

Salary:  Up to £28,500 DOE

Job type:  Permanent, Full Time

Hours of work:  40 hours Monday to Friday, Opportunities for training and career development.

Responsibilities

      Contact lapsed and new customers to understand their current situation or possible requirements working from a CRM database.

Answer basic questions about the products/services or the company.

Enter and update customer information in the database.

Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information.

Making phone calls to existing customers with a view to maintaining and increasing business.

Phoning prospective contacts within existing customers with a view to getting them on board as active contacts.

Calling prospective customers from a central database with a view to getting them on board as an active account.

Qualifying leads and taking prospects through to an initial order stage, then the ongoing Account Management.

Looking after existing business and providing outstanding customer service.

General administration duties.

Following up marketing offers and promotions.

Candidate overview:

      Good telephone sales skills and experience.

Enthusiastic, persistent, thriving on challenge, problem solving, customer focused, working under pressure to targets.

Self-motivated/disciplined and able to work with others as part of a close team.

An enthusiasm and desire for sales, profit and success is essential for this role.

Quick keyboard skills are essential..

Proven experience as telesales representative/sales background

Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota mainly via the phone would be desirable

Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software)

Work well in a team setting

Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection

Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints

Due to the nature of the role, a financial and DBS background check is also required, at the employer's expense.
