The Role

Responsibility for routine product analysis, working with a team of Technicians whose primary focus is on Quality, Productivity, Process, Health and Safety, Hygiene and Good Housekeeping. Ensuring equipment is maintained. Ensure your training records are updated accordingly.

Shift

  • Monday to Friday, weekly rotating 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm and 10pm to 6am. Plus potential Overtime

Key Responsibilities

Quality:

  • Calibration of analytical instrumentation in accordance with schedules.
  • Performing tests efficiently and according to sampling plans. To learn all testing within the Laboratory for Chemistry and Microbiological and offer support to other employees.
  • Tasting of product at all stages of production, highlighting non-standard flavours and aromas, referring to Laboratory Senior Technician/Team Leaders or the Quality Manager. Participation in taste panels.
  • Microbiological Analysis of produce at all stages of production. Performing repeat analyses where required.
  • To become involved in updating methods, work instructions etc under the QMS.
  • Providing Laboratory support to Packaging and Processing as required by hours of operation, including weekend and bank holiday work where necessary.
  • To assist in the development programme of Laboratory testing and become a champion of projects.

Reports and record using SAP:

  • Running SAP for all data entry on liquids and Final products, and user decisions on Liquids.
  • Ensure you use your login details to enter data and not anyone else's following the IT policies.

Team Work & Communication:

  • Effectively communicate with Senior Technician/Team Leaders and other Technicians.
  • Ensure that you contribute to the Shift report for the next team.
  • Work effectively within the whole site team.

The Role

As Retail/Merchant Merchandiser you will be responsible for supporting sales growth of high-quality products within an established customer base across the UK. Typical responsibilities of the job include:

  • Working closely with buyers and other merchandisers to plan product ranges
  • Meeting with suppliers, distributors, and analysts (where applicable)
  • Managing budgets/forecasting stand requirements internally.
  • Predicting sales and allowing for the correct initial stock.
  • Delivery timescales (including stands) and pre planning to prevent delays.
  • Handling supply/production problems as they arise
  • Keeping the stands and POS in a reasonable condition
  • There will be an element of working away from home.
