Commutable from Leeds, Castleford, Garforth, Pontefract, Tadcaster, York

Permanent full-time office-based role.

Working Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm with some flexibility.

The Role

Hawk 3 Talent Solution are looking for an experienced CAD Technician to join a growing company in Sherburn in Elmet, Yorkshire.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our drafting process using AutoCAD software. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work mainly on temporary structures.

As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for translating existing plans and specifications into precise, technical drawings.

An engineering background would be ideal but most importantly, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under varying project deadlines. You should be comfortable with the possibility of managing multiple projects simultaneously and adapting to changes in project scope or drawing requirements.

Duties

• Develop accurate and detailed drawings using AutoCAD software 2D & 3D
• Collaborate closely with the technical team and other team members to understand project requirements and drawing specifications
• Ensure all drawings meet company specifications
• Make revisions and updates to existing drawings based on feedback
• Maintain organised digital files of all project-related documents and drawings
• Stay updated on the latest CAD software developments and drafting techniques
• Contribute to the maintenance of the company's CAD standards and best practices

The Person

• Proven experience with AutoCAD software, with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple projects
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
