Role:

Work closely with the Engineering Team Lead, taking responsibility for delivering a high-quality engineering service in support of the achievement of operational targets.

Complete the full range of maintenance activities across the entire installed asset base within the area that they work.

Rapidly diagnose and resolve both mechanical, electrical plus basic control & instrumentation faults.

Job Objective:

• Competent at completing safety device system checks and isolation activities and immediately reporting any non-conformances and food safety concerns.
• Competent at identifying and arranging permit to work documentation, reviewing safe system of work documentation, completing dynamic risk assessments or using the STAR process to mitigate emerging hazards (Stop, Think, Act, Review - Behavioural Safety).
• Competent at completing contractor control processes.
• Specialist knowledge (e.g., ammonia plant / legionella management), LOTO, Working safely.
• Participation in key safe behaviour conversations, the Factory safety observation system, and area risk assessments.
• Ensure all personal mandatory safety requirements are met.
• Competent at completing documentation / SAP / CMMS entries.
• Competent at complying with Engineering Standards / GMP / HACCP.
• Adheres to change control processes.
• Awareness of critical calibrations (PM's) apply right first-time engineering standards to all.

Person Specification:

• Qualified Mechanical and Electrical Engineer with FMCG experience (Over 2 years FMCG experience).
• Compliant with mandatory training - plant/factory and role specific. Provides buddying training to other Team Members.
• Supports the creation and training of area specific SOPs.
• Work collaboratively with all teams.

Main Purpose of Job QA Coordinator

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are looking for an experienced QA Cordinator To support the shift in complying with Client and Customer Technical Standards whilst delivering right first time every time product.  Coach and guide the shift in making the right decisions and solutions in regards to food safety, quality and integrity, promoting a site wide positive food safety culture.                                       

Main Duties and Responsibilities QA Coordinator 

To be the first point of contact for the shift regards food safety, quality and integrity standards, coaching the Shift Teams to make the right decisions and solutions

• Conducting audits on paperwork, GMP audits, Glass and Hard Plastic, traceability and internal audits
• Conducting swabbing and sampling of finished product, raw materials and environment
• Conduct post hygiene inspection audits for allergen cleans
• Conduct taste assessment of both finished product and work in progress
• Verify/calibrate the key equipment
• Raise Non Conformances and put non-conforming stock on hold
• Ensure that the shift is aware of shift performance regarding non-conforming product, customer complaints, CCPs, GMP, taste panel and hygiene performance

The Role

• To undertake the maintenance and repair of the Gas Plant, including fabric & basic electrical tasks of buildings as required under contract
• To ensure all PPM and Reactive tasks are completed to the required legislative standards
• To ensure all required paperwork is completed and submitted within timescales
• Participation on the On-Call Rota

Main Duties

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete the appropriate paperwork and reports

• Carry out Reactive and emergency tasks
• To complete all tasks using handheld technology effectively
