Job: Resourcing Coordinator

Location: Wiltshire /Somerset

Salary: up to £35,000 DOE

Job type: Permanent, Full Time, Hybrid

Hours of work: 0900am -1700pm Monday to Friday (37 hours) Early Finish on Fridays

Summary:

Our client based in Wiltshire and Somerset area are currently recruiting for Resourcing Coordinator team on a full time, permanent basis. This role will be based within the Wiltshire/Somerset offices of the South West. Hybrid working would be considered.

Client Service

      Ensure timely allocation of assignments to our resourcing software

Juggle varying needs of job managers in the firm to ensure client service needs are met

Review the resourcing process and look for ways to improve

Feedback to Business Services team on progress and where issues need resolving

Business Development

      Proactively contributes to business development (e.g. activity on social media, spotting opportunities with existing clients to cross refer)

Builds internal network

Role Purpose

Overall management and review of the resourcing process in the Business Services department.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

      Maintaining job list from our practice management system (IRIS) to our resourcing software. Ensuring jobs expected to be resourced are accurate per the software.

Regularly monitoring jobs to be booked, per our resourcing spreadsheet and scheduling on our resourcing software with communication made to job managers.

Identifying issues around time taken on jobs by associates and communication levels and giving feed back to line managers.

Undertaking job reviews and data review checks, updating the practice management system for job stage and notifying job managers.

Monitoring and updating resourcing software for jobs completed and where additional time is needed.

Regular communication with Associates and job managers regarding progress and allocation of jobs. Feedback to line managers as required.

Providing fortnightly reports of capacity and issues to allow higher level capacity calculations.

Negotiate with job managers on sensible solutions to conflicting deadlines. Manage expectations and ensure processes are adhered to.

Maintaining resourcing software for changes in job manager and lost clients.

Maintaining the small tasks spreadsheet on a regular basis and allocating to suitable level staff.

Review that the booking in process is being adhered to and dealt with on a timely basis.

Be a point of contact for any resourcing queries, from anyone in the firm.

Monitor job flow and capacity on our resourcing software and advise on future dates where we may be under/over resourced.

Collating information from job managers, regarding audit dates and scheduling as necessary.

Ensure good visibility on short deadline jobs and work to prioritise these as needed.

Liaise with IRIS Outsourcing manager on a regular basis to ensure job flow is being managed sufficiently.

A new role has been created for a regional account manager to cover the North of England up to Scotland. The role is working on a field basis with remote working offered on the days you aren’t visiting clients sites. Due to this being a field-based role base location is negotiable however being nearby the M62 is desirable.

With a reporting line to the UK Sales Manager, the successful post holders will be an integral part of the sales team and contribute to the planning and delivery of a national sales strategy and be responsible for the development and implementation of business specific sales goals.

For this role our client is looking for someone with proven experience within a scientific/medical sales environment. Preferably you will have experience selling into the clinical market (NHS) however no microbiology background is required. This is a perfect role for someone who is looking to start a career within diagnostic sales within an established business, with a supportive management line & established client base.

This role offers a competitive basic salary depending on experience, company car and commission structure.

For over 70 years our client’s clinical products have been at the forefront of laboratory science. With a broad spectrum of carefully engineered pre-analytical products that are operable across conventional and molecular testing platforms, the products are the de facto standard aiding the diagnosis of infectious disease.

KEY Roles & Responsibilities.

  • To grow Sales within the North of England and Scotland with established accounts and new business
  • To Identify and report on business-to-business opportunities in target markets
  • To maximise business opportunities, build a strong pipeline, and driving sector growth
  • To meet and exceed revenue expectations
  • Support sales process by anticipating and resolving issues expediently
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of industry issues and competitive landscape
  • Represent customer interests in driving business strategy and management decisions
  • Work cooperatively with executive management, colleagues to foster a positive company culture
  • Maintain accurate sales records through Sage CRM
  • Liaise fully with the marketing team to design and execute short- and long-term marketing campaigns for the business-to-business revenue stream

Skills and Experience

  • Be self-motivated and have a commitment to over-achievement
  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience in scientific based sales, preferably within the diagnostics or pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems and ability to use effectively for reporting and opportunity management
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and presentation skills
  • Be comfortable working within a field based role, expectations of 3-4 days on the road per week.
