This standout regional firm are looking for Remote Conveyancers with at least 2-3 years PQE to join a vibrant team with huge plans for expansion in 2022.

The firm cover all aspects of Residential Conveyancing and are on most of the major lenders in the Midlands for referrals.

A recent acquisition has seen the firm employ a very experienced Legal Finance Manager and the team has three individuals in who handle the Accountancy and Finance Department.

The Role

This is an excellent chance for an experienced Legal Cashier to join a boutique firm in the heart of the Cotswolds.

As Legal Cashier you will be responsible for.

• Processing client and office accounting transactions
• Bank reconciliations
• Processing bank transfers
• Administration and reconciliation of petty cash
• VAT administration and returns

The role is not overly busy in terms of volume but has lots of different aspects involved such as; Account Invoicing, Legal Cashiering, Purchase Ledger and more.

You will be expected to have worked in a Legal Cashier role or Cashier/Accounts role in the Legal sector. Excellent candidates from professional, regulated industries such as Estate Management, Accountancy or Finance will also be considered.

As well as sector experience, the successful Legal Cashier will have an excellent knowledge of financial software and banking systems.

The firm are looking for a self-starter, ambitious and friendly individual who want to work on several interesting Conveyancing transactions in a beautiful location. The firm has been servicing the local area for over 200 years and as a result are the firm of choice for people living in Stow, Moreton on Marsh and Bourton on the water.

The Role

Type of works includes both commercial and residential conveyancing. The firm also has a wonderful HNW client base in the Cotswolds and London.

• The sale and purchase of both freehold and leasehold property
• Purchase of land for residential development and plot sales
• 'Buy to Let' purchases
• Re-mortgaging and equity release
• Extension of leases
• Purchase of freehold interest
• Land Registry - boundary issues and voluntary first registration of title
• Severance of joint tenancies
• Preparation of declarations of trust
• Drafting bespoke leases for individuals needs
• Deeds of Gift

This would fit a Licensed Conveyancer or Conveyancing Executive looking to work on a non-business development focused position with an employer that truly cares about the reputation of the firm and the wellbeing of its employees.

Requirements

• 2 PQE (will consider exceptional candidates at NQ level)
• Legal Qualification such as a completed Training Contract or CILEX membership

Requirements:
