Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are working with a professional services company based in Leeds, West Yorkshire who are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their Finance Team.

The Role

This is an exciting hands-on role reporting to the Head of Finance. You will help develop forward-thinking analysis, management reports to scaling the automated financial process and play a key part in new and existing projects.

The role will also offer the opportunity for you to develop your skills.

Duties

• Full production of monthly management accounts including: fixed asset management, balance sheet reconciliations, revenue and income reporting, as well as WIP reconciliations
• Submitting statutory reports to regulators
• Supporting the Head of Finance and CFOO with forecasting and budgeting
• Maintaining and improving controls in the business Generating and circulating internal reports and analysis on a weekly/monthly basis Analysing and improving processes and procedures Any other management account team duties as required 

The Person

• 5  years of experience working in a finance role or equivalent experience
• Experience either producing (or supporting the production of) management accounts
• Experience either producing (or supporting the production of) forecasting and budgeting
• ACCA, CIMA, ACA qualification
• Strong abilities within Microsoft Excel, including Pivot tables and V-Lookup
• Strong attention to detail, organisation and analytical skills
• An awareness of the professional standard required when working within a regulated industry and the importance of delivering a quality service to our clients

The Role

The Finance Controller role is newly created to oversee the growing fashion business, You will need to have a passion for what you do and be commercially aware and it's a bonus if you enjoy fashion.

The role includes managing the full accounts across the fashion division, cash flow and coordinating a team of accounts assistants. We are looking for a person with a keen eye for detail, with sound accounting experience and who has previously held a senior financial role.

Produce a daily transport plan that is both practical and achievable ensuring minimal cost and maximum profitability.

Ensure that the plan is clearly communicated to all necessary parties and maintain regular contact with all internal departments.

Liaise closely with the Warehouse and Customers Services teams to achieve the most effective plan.

Ensure the export documentation is correct and valid; ensuring that all the correct documentation is raised in line with the HMRC requirements.

Entering data to maintain up-to-date transportation records.

To ensure that the drivers' hours are utilised correctly.

Manage driver's hours/Holidays/sickness.

Manage servicing/inspections/MOT of company wagons.
