Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are working with a professional services company based in Leeds, West Yorkshire who are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their Finance Team.

The Role

This is an exciting hands-on role reporting to the Head of Finance. You will help develop forward-thinking analysis, management reports to scaling the automated financial process and play a key part in new and existing projects.

The role will also offer the opportunity for you to develop your skills.

Duties

  • Full production of monthly management accounts including: fixed asset management, balance sheet reconciliations, revenue and income reporting, as well as WIP reconciliations
  • Submitting statutory reports to regulators
  • Supporting the Head of Finance and CFOO with forecasting and budgeting
  • Maintaining and improving controls in the business
    Generating and circulating internal reports and analysis on a weekly/monthly basis
    Analysing and improving processes and procedures
    Any other management account team duties as required 

The Person

  • 5  years of experience working in a finance role or equivalent experience
  • Experience either producing (or supporting the production of) management accounts
  • Experience either producing (or supporting the production of) forecasting and budgeting
  • ACCA, CIMA, ACA qualification
  • Strong abilities within Microsoft Excel, including Pivot tables and V-Lookup
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation and analytical skills
  • An awareness of the professional standard required when working within a regulated industry and the importance of delivering a quality service to our clients

The Role

 

Responsible for overseeing the successful technical and commercial execution of projects and managing the personnel and resources. The Associate Director will be a client-orientated and capable communicator, able to develop strong relationships with clients and fellow professionals to secure repeat business.

As this role is high level we will need the person to not only be a chartered Engineer but to also possess great communication skills so that they can talk to clients and their delegates and be able to line manage effectively. Hawk 3 Talent are working with a specialist global manufacturer who are looking to recruit a Electrical Maintenance Engineer for their Chepstow site. Excellent opportunity for progression for the right candidate.

 

As Maintenance Technician you'll enjoy being a critical part of the team and work flexibly across a variety of activities.

As Maintenance Technician you'll 'roll your sleeves up and get stuck in' wherever you're needed carrying out a variety of different tasks including routine / preventative maintenance/mechanical settings and fault diagnosis across all the facility and systems, some major items include:

  • Vertical powder paint line.
  • Semi - automated packing (tapping & spiral wrap) lines.
  • Paint line conveyor/track.
  • Spray guns reciprocator.
  • A range of liquid pumps, valves and heating elements in chemical treatment and wastewater treatment plant; and Polyamide rolling lines and packing machines.

 

As a Maintenance Technician you'll be working with aluminum rolling machines (and there aren't many of those around) so we'll make sure you'll receive all the necessary training to be successful in your role. Experience of working as a Maintenance technician is a bonus but, as a minimum we're looking for you to demonstrate that you have:

  • Proven experience of being a competent qualified electrical technician.
  • Possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • A self?motivated proactive approach to work with high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proven experience of reading machine schematics.
  • Ability to build, maintain effective working partnerships with colleagues - we're a team and better when we work together!
  • If you have any experience of machine setting that's a bonus!

 

This role does involves physical movement including lifting, bending, twisting and carrying with loads of up to 20kg as a core part of the role.

40 hours per week alternating shift between 06.00 - 14.00 / 14.00 - 22.00

Salary - up to 43,000.00 depending on experience.
