The successful candidate will be working within a medical device manufacturing facility working closely with both the quality and production teams.

Duties as a Quality Control Inspector:

  • Measuring and testing of manufactured items to prescribed specifications
  • Approval of incoming supplied goods by assessing delivered items to specification
  • Keeping records of inspection, internal test data and participation in production investigations and audits
  • Maintain quality records
  • Using computer based software to enter data and to create reports and prepare production labelling
  • Participate in audits and CAPA investigations
  • Development and continual support of the Quality Control Team
  • Give guidance to colleagues on specific product knowledge or inspect criteria
  • Supporting the QA department in all quality control activities
  • Using test equipment to capture and analyse measurement data
  • Report writing and internal document creation to record results and records

  • Ability to read and understand detailed technical instructions / quality standards
  • Good computer literacy, data entry and the use of Microsoft Office programs and e-mail

Person Specification

  • Preferably educated to degree level.
  • Experience working within an NPD technologist role in the food industry essential, ideally within bakery.

Key Areas of Accountabilities

Duties
