Hours 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Friday

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are working with a leading distribution company based near Nantwich who are looking for an experienced Recruitment and Resourcing Specialist to support with the recruitment process across their business.

You will report directly into the Head of Human Resources.

The Role

You will be supporting the Management Team to recruit across the warehousing and distribution sites. You will review and improve the recruitment processes, supporting, coaching and mentoring the hiring managers, and providing candidates with a great experienced. You will also be involved with the support of recruiting temporary candidates during busy periods.

You will have no direct reports but will work closely with the HR Team and Hiring managers.

You will deliver recruitment campaigns, look at job profiles and the interview process.

Duties of the Recruitment Specialist

  • Responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process
  • Supporting managers with the interviewing if required
  • Using Recruitment media platforms such as Linked In, Indeed and the internal careers pages to deliver recruitment campaigns and improve brand awareness
  • Salary benchmarking and creating role/job profiles
  • Create standard interview questions and processes for each role.
  • Liaise with Recruitment Agencies

Skills/Knowledge/Experience  of the Recruitment Specialist

  • Previous experience of working in a Senior Recruitment role
  • CIPD or equivalent training qualification
  • The ability and experience of recruiting for a high volume of vacancies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous experience of working in a FMCG environment
  • Proactive
  • Experience of recruiting into warehousing environments
  • Organised with good time management

Role Purpose

To support operations across multiple sites in the Grimsby area. The HR Business Partner will be responsible for providing business focused practical advice, guidance and coaching on all employee relations activities to businesses management teams. This position will also focus on supporting organisational change and delivering strategic HR objectives. To provide dedicated advice, support, and guidance on employee relations issues, in line with the People Charter, which includes but is not limited to:

  • Sickness absence
  • Disciplinary investigations, hearings and appeals
  • Grievance investigations, outcomes and appeals
  • Performance management
  • Business restructures and reorganisations
  • Mobilisation and demobilisation of contracts (TUPE)
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures and supporting documents in response to business requirements and in line with relevant legislation.

  • Conduct exit interviews for salaried leavers and co-ordinate regular reports and analysis relating to staff retention.

  • Prepare and issue appropriate contractual documentation to employees in relation to appointments, terminations and variations to terms and conditions, in line with statutory timescales.

Collaboration

  • Ensure HR policies, procedures and supporting documents are communicated appropriately; ensuring key information is delivered to supervisors and managers in an effective manner.
  • Prepare and deliver workshops and one to one coaching sessions for supervisors and managers on a range of employee relations matters.
  • Effectively collate and monitor KPIs, analyse trends and identify remedial action to facilitate a proactive HR approach.

Empowerment

  • Prepare and communicate briefings on a range of HR related topics to management teams.
  • Lead and co-ordinate any Employment Tribunals, liaising with key stakeholders and Company solicitors where necessary

Essential

  • Educated to degree level or proven experience to demonstrate level of competence.
  • Up to date employment law knowledge and can demonstrate practical application of legislation.
  • Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of good HR practice and its application
  • Experience of working in a generalist role, managing a high volume of ER casework
  • Previous experience of working with Trade Unions.
  • Previous experience working with variety of management levels.

Desirable

  • A relevant degree qualification (e.g. Employment Law)
  • CIPD Qualified
  • Advanced knowledge of current employment law
  • Previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment.
