Are you an experienced, successful Business Development Executive ? Ideally with a proven background Overland Import and Export.

We are recuiting for an established business with a truly Global footprint, that is undergoing an extended period of growth and can offer genuine ling term career prospects. 

Role Purpose

To identify, qualify & develop commercial opportunities within the Import and Export sector, growing the businesses customer, expanding revenue and profits.  

Required Skills & Experience 

  • Minimum of 2 years proven experience of B 2 B Sales, working to tight deadlines in a results driven environment  
  • Ideally having a working knowledge of Road Freight sales
  • Producing reports and manging sales campaigns
  • Experience of setting up and maintaining CRM of accounts leads and activity
  • Experience of setting up sales campaigns for new markets

Details

  • Working a 37.5 hour week, 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday
  • Home / Office and Field based 
  • Excellent renumeration package, negotiable depending upon experience. Including good basic and open ended commission.

  • Ability to process details to a high standard
  • Gives support to customers, and team members direct and indirect
  • Investigates issues and takes learningopportunities
  • B2B/B2C experience is preferred

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are looking to recruit Field Service Technician for a permanent role with our client, a specialist manufacturer with several sites across the UK. The Field Service Technician is responsible for the safety, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of the Company packaging equipment in use at our customer's sites.

This role is primarily about supporting our Clients' customers on the M6 corridor ensuring that the Company high speed packaging machines are maintained in excellent condition and run at >98% efficiency. This is a role where you are encouraged to grow your knowledge and experience and become an active member of our Europe Field Service Team. Flexibility is required to cover the UK and European customers.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION

  • Ensuring the safe operation and maintenance of Westrock machines
  • Installation, commissioning, and customer acceptance of new machines
  • Proactively monitoring machine performance and intervening to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Proactively managing scheduled maintenance of machines entrusted to you (actively looking for and resolving problems before they become issues for our customers)
  • Assessing machine mechanical wear and conducting the planned replacement worn components
  • Improve the knowledge and skills of customer operators and maintainers and creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) where needed.
  • Actively involved with the team to improve our own work practices
  • Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults and quickly escalating to colleagues when required
  • Ensuring that the correct tools, spare parts and consumables are available
  • Input to the continuous improvement of WestRock's machine design

 

 

Education / Experience / Skills

  • Ideally 3 to 5 years' experience of installing, maintaining, and repairing electro-mechanical machinery
  • Knowledge and practical experience of PLCs and Mechatronic systems
  • Independent, customer-oriented way of working
  • Performance-oriented thinking and acting
  • Willingness to challenge "we have always done it like this" thinking
  • Willingness to travel
  • Language: English (Another European language is a plus)
  • Project management experience is a plus
  • LEAN and Six Sigma experience is a plus
