Job Purpose
- To focus on all aspects of the introduction, performance, reliability and validation of processes and machine tools.
- Using the site CMMS and OEE tools, the Asset Care Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and up keeping the asset database, along analysing the data to identify/prioritise/ create work plans according to asset reliability and Top 3 opportunities.
- Implement a continual PPM review process, within their designated asset base, that will improve the quality of the maintenance undertaken by the Maintenance Engineering Team and will be measured by reliability improvement from OEE.
- To lead small improvement groups and activities to resolve plant reliability issues using proven CI methods and RCA. Delivering improvement projects as individual or leading small teams.
- Will provide cover in the absence of the Engineering Projects and Development Manager where necessary.
- Working with the Facilities and Maintenance manager and his team to ensure resource labour and parts are available on time in full.

Key Responsibilities
• Support a safety culture of protecting people from harm.

• Attends daily Engineering review.
• Identify training needs for Maintenance Engineers and frontline maintenance team
• Facilitation of processes using tools and techniques including (but not limited to):-
- DMAIC/ RCA
- 5S - Work Place Organization and Visual Management
- Asset Care
- Plans activity in line with plant gaps and shutdowns.
- Develop work plans in line with reliability improvement.
- Generate and execute improvement plans.
- Use data to prioritise activity and measure improvements.
- Understand MRO budget.
- Raise orders using Syspro.
- Waste Elimination Focus.
- Deliver Improvement plans covering all operational KPI's.
- Support the development and delivery of manufacturing OEE improvement program.
- Support delivery of primary KPi's — Safety, Quality, Waste, Capacity.
- Maintain systems and controls to ensure that quality production delivery is at the forefront of all activities.
- Promote a continuous improvement culture.
- Innovation & Investment Develop local innovation and "Big Ideas" pipeline in relation to site opportunity & Cl.
- Support the development and Delivery of the site Capital plan to cost, on time in full.
- Project manage capital investments to deliver growth and reduce costs.

Management Financial Responsibility
Whilst this role has no budgetary responsibility the role holder is expected to be mindful of the impact of their role on the wider company budget, including but not limited to the efficiency of their role, waste and lost time. Project Budgets are expected to be managed where required.
Equipment
All employees are responsible for the care and safekeeping of all company equipment as appropriate to their role. Issues requiring training and/or qualification not undertaken/held by the employee must be escalated to the correct person. Untrained/unqualified employees are forbidden from undertaking the use or maintenance of equipment.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- HNC/HND/Apprentice qualified or Equivalent, with a recognised qualification in either electrical or mechanical skills.
- Although it is recognised that Apprenticeships generally train in a single disciplined the candidate should have a full understanding and a level of competency in mechanical fields, electrical diagnosis and circuitry and pneumatic systems.
- Experience and understanding of Regulatory and Quality systems required in the design, purchase, and installation and validation of machine tools and processes.
- High IT literacy.
- Agility and Capability to communicate and engage at all levels of the organisation.
- Exceptional Communicator with verbal and numerate skills.
- Hands on experience of Coaching/Mentoring and Knowledge Transfer process.

Salary £45-50k negotiable depending on experience

As a Maintenance Technician you'll be working with aluminum rolling machines (and there aren't many of those around) so we'll make sure you'll receive all the necessary training to be successful in your role. Experience of working as a Maintenance technician is a bonus but, as a minimum we're looking for you to demonstrate that you have:
- Proven experience of being a competent qualified electrical technician.
- Possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- A self?motivated proactive approach to work with high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proven experience of reading machine schematics.
- Ability to build, maintain effective working partnerships with colleagues - we're a team and better when we work together!
- If you have any experience of machine setting that's a bonus!
This role does involves physical movement including lifting, bending, twisting and carrying with loads of up to 20kg as a core part of the role.

A vacancy has arisen for an Electrical Design Engineer to undertake the design, development and testing of electrical control systems for our product range; involving the selection of appropriate control hardware based on the most cost-effective and scalable control platform.
Principal Accountabilities:
Write control specifications for new products or modifications to existing products.
Design electrical circuits required for the development and production of laser wire processing machines and other new products using ePLAN electrical design software or similar.
Generate build documentation and parts lists to enable the purchasing department and production department to order parts and build products / machines.
Write commissioning procedures for machines to enable the efficient transfer of products to Production and Service.
Liaise with end users and other relevant contractors and sub-contractors to ensure correct design, test and installation of systems.
Participate in the investigation of system problems arising from testing, acceptance or operational use in the field.

Contribute to the evolving Design Standards for Electrical / Mechanical Drawings.

Education / Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate will be qualified to a minimum of HND or preferably degree level in Electrical and / or Electronic Engineering. The candidate will have a strong electrical / controls / automation engineering background designing and developing complex machinery or systems; and be experienced in the full product life cycle from initial specification through development, build, test, deployment and support.
Job Specific Skills / Personal Qualities
New product introduction: design, build, commission and test.
Electrical Machine / Control Panel Design with reference to risk assessment and applicable safety standards like 12100, 60204 and 13849.
Electrical drawing package experience (preferably ePLAN).
Electrical Machine Design for build and procurement - parts list, wire schedules, cable schedules etc.
Application of Servo Amplifier / Stepper Drive Systems and DC / AC Drive systems.
Specification of sensor types including proximity sensors, through beam etc.
Creation of Controls Specifications - Functional Design Specification / IO Specification.
Advantageous but not essential if have experience of robotics and vision systems, practical experience of electrical builds and use of diagnostic tools.
Ability to manage time and resources and prioritise tasks based on a dynamic project function with a willingness to travel and undertake customer visits if required.
Strong verbal and precise written communications skills to engage with internal and external contacts, effectively gather information and express instructions clearly.
Our normal hours of work are 37 per week: Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm and Friday 8.30am to 1.30pm.

JOB PURPOSE
Accountable to the Paint Line Team Leader, the Spray Booth Operative is part of a small team responsible for the operation of the powder booth in a vertical powder coating plant for architectural aluminium extrusions. This role will also involve providing cover for the water treatment technicians as required by the needs of the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES
- Set-up and monitor the spray booth for correct operation to meet all agreed quality standards.
- Complete colour changes in a timely manner understanding the impact of different colour change procedures on quality.
- To analyse technical / quality problems with the process / product and implement solutions quickly and effectively.
- Schedule the work to maximise productivity and achieve quality requirements.
- To complete relevant paperwork in line with process.
- To monitor and carry out all paint powder/consumable item stock control transactions via SAGE or similar
- To understand customer needs in line with the needs of the business.
- To keep up to date and respond accordingly to all enquiries.
- To liaise with and assist internal staff where required, promptly and in a professional manner.
- To attend meetings, training programmes, etc. as directed by management; and
- To provide feedback to all other areas of the business to ensure continuous improvement of our services.

Knowledge & Experience
- Previous experience of working in a similar role, specifically a thorough and practical understanding of the powder booth, the control panel and associated powder handling / recycling system
- Previous experience of Water industry operations i.e. water and waste water treatment, water and sewerage network operations;
- Proven experience of working in an organised and structured way
- Previous experience of working in a fast-growing company
- Ability to understand production paperwork, including engineering drawings would be an advantage
- Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office

Salary: £22672 basic plus bonus. Combined OTE of up to £50k per annum
