Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are looking to recruit a Quality Inspector for a permanent role with our client, a specialist global manufacturer based at their site based in Cirencester.

The Quality Inspector should ensure that products are inspected to the correct requirements, specifications and materials as agreed with the customer.

To release conforming product on the correct release documentation and information

Key Responsibilities

To approve product to drawings and customers supporting documentation.

To provide assistance and support within the business regarding product conformance.

Operate singularly or as part of a team that makes the most effective use of inspection resource.

Any other reasonable duties requested by Head of Quality.

Recording of output from inspection activities on the corresponding software e.g. Mestec, Sage

Conducting inspection activities across all areas of the business including, but not limited to: - Clean Room, Goods Inwards, Manufacturing Cells, Final Inspection.

Ensure compliance to training activities and support buddy training as required

Ensuring that all equipment used is suitably with calibration and is free from damage prior to use.

Retrieval of items due calibration in a timely manner and as per list supplied

Conduct periodic checks on inspection equipment where specified including, but not limited to: - light levels, calipers prior to use et

Knowledge:

Ability to use measuring equipment such as rulers, callipers, gauges or micrometers to inspect, test and measure product.

Experience of working with customer drawings and supporting documentation to ensure correct manufacture and assembly of product

Experience of regulatory document recording

Good working knowledge of Quality procedures.

Skills

CNC MACHINE OPERATOR / POOLE - PERMANENY VACANCY

Duties as a CNC Machine Operator:

Loading materials into machines

Regularly inspecting machines for mechanical and safety issues

Making sure machines remain well stocked so that there are as few interruptions of service as possible

Verifying inventory and placing orders where necessary

Examining machinery production output to verify the product is acceptable to move onto the next part of the production process

Maintaining and updating records about the machine's operation and the teams overall performance

Reading up on machinery features and attending safety and other courses to enhance on the job operations

Keeping focus on safety by helping others to conduct themselves appropriately around operating machinery

Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production

Communicate logistics issues that arise in the process of creating a component
