ACCOUNTS ADMINISTRATOR / NEWTON ABBOT - PERMANENT ROLE

Location: Brunel Road Industrial Estate, Newton Abbot

Assignment: Permanent contract

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00am - 17:00pm

Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 per annum

Duties as an Accounts Administrator:

  • Maintaining variation spreadsheets
  • Chasing variation order confirmations and prices
  • Providing updates for debtor meetings
  • Update IRIS when VARS are invoiced
  • Update order spreadsheets
  • Analyze fitters, producing monthly reports for management information
  • Allocate new build bank account receipts and reconcile to SAGE on a monthly basis
  • Raise invoices for paid applications
  • Maintain retentions spreadsheet
  • Raise credits for retentions
  • Produce monthly statements
  • Credit control for new build, to include producing a report for meetings
  • Issue weekly stock sheets to warehouse
  • Order stationary and health & safety supplies
  • Petty cash duties

About you:

  • SAGE and Excel experience is essential

Duties as a Workshop Supervisor:

  • Assisting in the preparation of quotations for customer services and repairs, this may also lead to liaising with colleagues in both the External Sales and Technical teams to prepare or hand over enquiries for bigger projects
  • Taking phone calls in the Workshop as first point of contact
  • Working closely with Sales and Technical teams on site to provide support and ensure that both customer and company needs are met as efficiently as possible
  • Supervising the Engineering team, workload, and schedules to ensure smooth running of a busy workshop
  • Promoting the company at all times when communicating with customers
  • Telephone follow up of numerous quotes and enquiries on customer equipment to convert to order
  • Maintaining and updating CRM system with details off conversations and order progress

About you:

  • Ideally 5 years' experience within Engineering / Mechanical backgrounds
  • Hands on experience which you now wish to progress into a more supervisory position
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
  • Experience of Word and Excel at an intermediate level is essential
  • Must hold UK driving license for a minimum of 3 years
