Permanent: Mobile Patrol Operative - Birmingham

Hours - 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7

Salary: C £20,500 Competitive commission

Job Purpose:

To be responsible for issuing Parking Charge Notices to vehicles that do not comply with on-site parking regulations. The role will involve working outdoors across various car parks in your designated area. Due to the nature of the role, there will be a large amount of face to face interaction with members of the public.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To provide exceptional customer service to their clients and the users of their car parks
• To consistently achieve against KPI's
• To work collaboratively with your team to ensure best practise is shared
• To efficiently plan routes with the use of navigation apps and knowledge of the region
• To patrol car parks in your designated area
• To issue Parking Charge Notices to offending vehicles as per site specifications
• To work with members of the public in a professional manner, even in confrontational situations
• To promptly report any health and safety issues that arise in line with company policy
• To maintain an up to date knowledge of industry standards and display these through your work

Person Specification:

• Ability to work independently and with a high degree of autonomy
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly to changing circumstances
• Ability to remain professional in difficult situations
• Positive attitude towards their work

Main Responsibilities of the Trainee Quality Assistant

To work with the Quality Manager and ensure that the policy outlined in the

Quality & Environmental Manual under ISO9001 / 14001 and the operational details specified in Codes of Practice are practised effectively

To provide regular, periodic quality statistics and analysis for review and corrective action and report this monthly to the Quality Manager

To conduct internal calibration and work with third party authorities

To participate in Quality System Auditing internally and at suppliers

Ensure that corrective action is taken resulting from quality audits, as dictated by Codes of Practice

Administer the customer complaints, code of practice procedure such that effective remedial action is taken to minimise recurrences

Administer supplier performance rating

Liaise with BSI and other inspection authorities affecting the business

To foster the theme of continuous improvement through better organisation, better teamwork, and better control at all levels. Also to promote the concept of personnel being responsible for the quality of their own work

Conduct patrol and final inspection in the different production units

Implementation, maintenance, and improvement of works Statistical Process Control systems.

Work with management to implement 5S and lean manufacturing techniques across the organisation

Experience and Skills required

The ideal candidate should be educated to GCSE level C or above in maths and English, and be competent using a PC (experience with MS Office would be an advantage).
