This is a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding express parcel network, already established across the UK.

The role is hybrid, working in the field with an expectation of working in the office one or two days per week as required.

Covering the Dudley postcode area, the role requires the holder to actively generate their own business leads, creating a network of contacts and pipeline of business.

Job Summary:

  • To ensure the Depot exceeds its revenue budget.
  • Exceeding their personal new business budget/target
  • Managing the customer base
  • Building close and effective working relationships with a network of contacts within prospective customers
  • Identifying and qualifying customer opportunities for new product sales
  • Developing and broadening relationship with existing customers while identifying and qualifying opportunities for new product sales
  • Define target list of customer prospects based on clearly defined criteria that maximises return for our client
  • Achieve and exceed personal and Depot targets in line with budget
  • Track performance of accounts, opportunity and scope to build and maintain customer relations
  • Submit accurate and timely sales reports

Basic Salary package of £27,000, plus mobile phone and laptop. Commission structure is uncapped and offers long term revenue, paid at 5% of GM year one, 3% of GM year two and 1% of GM thereafter for the duration of employment.

Person Specification

  • The Technical Account Executive will have experience of working in a dairy manufacturing environment
  • You will need knowledge of Pasteurisation, homogenisation, incubation, cooling as well as an understanding of cheese composition
  • Have knowledge of an NPD environment with exposure to NPD project stages
  • As the Technical Account Executive, you ideally will need experience of conducting product trails within a manufacturing environment
  • Must be educated in a relevant degree or by experience with a detailed understanding of dairy protein chemistry, functional ingredients, and cultured/fermented milk products
  • Must be able to work as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills

Duties

  • Control, development, and administration of all Quality System documentation in line with current working practices, legislation, and ISO 9001:2015 criteria 
  • Completion of quality correspondence in relation to onboarding new customers and suppliers
  • Implement and manage the company internal audit schedule acting as lead auditor, reporting findings and driving actions for process improvement with key stakeholders
  • Mentor and coach internal audit team
  • Analyse data and compile monthly reports for management on customer and supplier non-conformances
  • Collate data for annual quality management review presentation
  • Review and communicate to customers, changes to industry legislation and compliance
  • Manage customer new product introduction (PPAP process)
  • Support sales and purchasing teams to investigate customer and supplier non-conformances to determine root cause and corrective action
  • Conduct customer and supplier on-site quality visits noting required actions
  • Manage the calibration register and organise third party calibration of key equipment
  • Co-ordinate with the external audit agency regards certification, administration and audits and play a lead role during the external audit process

  • 2 years experience working in a quality management role
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015

  • Pro-active and organised in your approach to work
  • Strong IT skills- including Microsoft products, particularly Word and Excel
