Supply Chain/Procurement

Main Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Function      

  • Monitoring internal stock and external impress stock levels
  • Procuring and supplying components for the company’s Maintenance, Repairs, Warranty and  Rentals Department
  • Sourcing and organising the delivery of components to both internal and external sites
  • Negotiation with suppliers and procurement of parts for the Aftersales Department
  • Ensuring part costs are controlled in line with job costings
  • Completing and checking Bills of Material against aftersales-related jobs
  • Chasing supplier schedules and delivery notes for parts orders
  • Conducting impress stock checks at customer and service vendor sites
  • Updating customers and internal departments with part delivery schedules and managing expectations of supply
  • Preparing specifications and quotations for spare parts business – following enquiries through from sale to delivery
  • Maintaining intranet system accuracy with regards to internal parts stock levels and consumption

Experience and Skills required

  • Experience in the Commercial Vehicle Parts sector or Parts/Supply Chain role
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • A continuous improvement mindset with excellent practical problem-solving Skills
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Full UK driving license

Our client is on the lookout for a Sales & Retention Executive to join their team based in London (N14) which has access to a tube station next to the office.

The Role:

  • As the Sales & Retention Executive, you will be taking calls from existing and new customers
  • You will be reaching out to leads who have taken an interest in the company through the website and local engagement
  • The Sales & Retention Executive will be assisting and helping customers who have experienced poor connectivity
  • Liaising with the service departments as well as engineers to assess and find solutions

Experience Required:

  • As the Sales & Retention Executive, you will need to be tech savvy

  • Able to work towards KPIs

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be a trusted member of the leadership team with functional responsibility for the provision and maintenance of a safe and environmentally conscious workplace for our employees and visitors to our site, the containment and resolution of product and service non-conformities and the organisation, administration and review of the Integrated Management System that governs the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental approach.

Job Objective:

Manage the organisation and administration of the company's Integrated Management System (IMS) ensuring that procedures and processes are created, maintained to the required standard and corrected or improved in accordance with the recommendations of compliance audits by external certification bodies.

Coordinate area and task-specific risk assessments in cooperation with area supervisors, team leaders and operators to identify hazards that present a risk to our employees' health and safety. Define, lead and manage the implementation of resulting corrective actions or control measures to eliminate these risks.

Conduct regular and detailed audits of the company's QHSE processes and procedures to identify good practice, opportunities for improvement and non-conformance. Lead investigations into health, safety and environmental incidents and quality related non-conformities. Proactively manage containment and the implementation of corrective actions to eliminate root causes.

Duties of the Senior Business Analyst
