Hours 8.30am – 5pm or 9am – 5.30pm to suit

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our client based in York City Centre. This would suit someone who is just starting out in the accounts field or a strong administrator with some basic Accounts dept support experience.

The Role

The role of the Accounts Assistant is to provide support to the accounts office to enable them to operate efficiently.

Duties

  • Issue Cheques
  • Daily Banking
  • Checking of bills
  • Inputting financial transactions
  • Filing and Archiving
  • Accounts reporting at the end of each day
  • Taking card payments
  • Help with any account enquiries

Skills/Knowledge/Experience

  • Good communication skills
  • A general interest in finance/accounts
  • A good understanding of Word and Excel desirable but not essential
  • Be organised and comfortable working to deadlines
  • Self-motivated

The Role

You’ll be a natural creative with some design experience. You’ll be creating fresh, dynamic, high quality digital artwork across all channels and websites, inspiring and engaging the company audiences in a way that brings their brands to life through video and content.

Working alongside other Designers both in the UK and USA, this is a highly collaborative role where the creative output will take center-stage in engaging with the clients customers through content and multi-channel campaigns. As a true creative champion, you’ll positively challenge and help develop clear and focused briefs, making it your mission to understand the audience and the purpose of the communication so that you can create content that is both compelling and impactful.

As part of the company in-house Creative team and reporting to the Creative Director, you’ll be responsible for raising the creative bar and being part of a growing team of passionate and proud experts in their field.

This role does offer flexible working but my client is looking for someone who can come into the business so a commutable distance is essential.

Skills/Experience/Knowledge

  • A degree or professional qualification in an appropriate discipline
  • A strong body of digital work that demonstrates your creativity
  • Experience working either in an agency or in-house environment
  • Full understanding of Adobe After Effects and / or Premiere and wider Adobe Suite
    (Photoshop, InDesign Illustrator etc) is essential
  • A natural collaborator who enjoys working in a team
  • High levels of literacy and an ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, whilst ensuring exceptionally high attention to detail and accuracy
  • The ability to communicate ideas, decisions and reasoning clearly and confidently
  • A genuine love for travel and storytelling
