Job Title: Mobile Patrol Operative

Location: Luton

Job Type: Permanent / Full Time

Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: Up to £11.05 per hour

Job Purpose

To be responsible for issuing Parking Charge Notices to vehicles that do not comply with on-site parking regulations. The role will involve working outdoors across various car parks in your designated area. Due to the nature of the role, there will be a large amount of face to face interaction with members of the public.

Key Responsible

To provide exceptional customer service to our clients and the users of their car parks

To consistently achieve against KPI's

To work collaboratively with your team to ensure best practise is shared

To efficiently plan routes with the use of navigation apps and knowledge of the region

To patrol car parks in your designated area

To issue Parking Charge Notices to offending vehicles as per site specifications

To work with members of the public in a professional manner, even in confrontational situations

To promptly report any health and safety issues that arise in line with company policy

To maintain an up to date knowledge of industry standards and display these through your work

Special Working Conditions

The postholder will be required to travel extensively and in all weathers. On occasion, the postholder may be required to travel outside of their designated area to support the needs of the business.

We are working with one of the UKs leading facilities companies in their search to find their new Mobile Fabric Engineer in Luton to join their growing and diverse team. In this role, no two days are the same.

Main Responsibilities of the Mobile Fabric Engineer

• The Mobile Fabric Engineer will be completing all building fabric activities
• You will be required to do patch repairs, minor plumbing, and carpentry.
• As the Mobile Fabric Engineer you will need to complete all work to the highest standard for the clients.
• You will need to report any defects to the client and keep them informed of any changes
• You will be required to keep logs and reports of all work
• Willing to work on an on-call rota

Experience and Skills required

• As the Mobile Fabric Engineer you will need experience within a Maintenance / Facilities Management environment.
• Relevant qualifications required e.g., C&G or equivalent or a trade related qualification.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety Permit to Work procedures and Safe Systems of Working.
• Capability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Good verbal and written communication are important, including the ability to use a mobile device.
• You'll need to be highly self-motivated and solutions focussed with the ability to work without supervision but also enjoy working as part of a team.
