Job Title: Stock Controller

Role Purpose: This role requires a tenacious and proactive materials & despatch operative, who demonstrates pride in their attention to detail. The primary responsibility of the role is working with finished goods to ensure necessary functions are carried out correctly.

Key Accountabilities:

Production

• To comply with current systems of working including established shift patterns
• Ensure on-time supply of finished goods
• Assist the day-to-day operations and warehouse functions with all reasonable tasks required within the despatch/stock area
• Maintaining good housekeeping at all times within the factory
• To work as part of a team to achieve daily/weekly production targets
• To achieve the highest possible quality standards working within the guidelines outlined in the established quality systems to achieve customer specification
• Participate in continuous learning and development to update skills and participate in improvement initiatives in production
• To work flexibly across all the production departments as and when required

Health and safety

• To work in a safe manner adhering to laid down health and safety procedures
• To report all accidents and dangerous occurrences and potential risks and ensure you behave in a way which minimizes risk to yourself and others

Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications

• No specific skills or experience required as full training will be given
• Forklift or counterbalance license would be advantageous
