Job Overview

  • To manage, maintain & develop staff & machinery in a manner that will ensure the team consistently achieve the targeted levels of performance, in the most cost-effective manner.

Quality

  • Evaluate and implement all seasonings to be decanted into seasoning room with the intention of eliminating all packaging from seasonings, pastes and fluids entering the bakery.
  • To have a particular focus on the accurate recording of agency usage and spend. Look for ways to effectively manage and minimise this cost
  • Manage and actively reduce wastage and giveaway to set agreed targets.
  • Work closely with Engineering to ensure all kit is maintained to high standards and any corrective actions for equipment repair are fully recorded and communicated.
  • Ensure any improvements to the site are undertaken in a cost effective and timely manner.
  • To ensure that Health and Safety performance is continually monitored and improved upon in terms of a reduction of Health and Safety related incidents.

Job Overview

  • Maintain a high factory profile and liaise with all departments to promote consistency and a high level of service throughout the business.
  • Support the HR function with absent management, relevant disciplinary procedures and provide update's on any recruitment requirements.
  • Member of site Auditing team and site HACCP team.
  • To ensure all staff are adequately trained and inducted on a regularly basis.
  • Prepare Monthly Hygiene reports and present at site Hygiene/Technical meeting
