Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are looking for a experienced IT Support Technician to join their small IT team based in Southend-on-Sea, Essex.

The Role

You will be reporting to the Group IT Manager providing overall support to around 50 onsite employees and also working with Excel Spreadsheets to analyse information and identify any formula errors.

Duties

  • Supporting office and production staff with resolving IT incidents and service request
  • Ensuring all tasks are logged onto the helpdesk system
  • You will be doing general troubleshooting on end user hardware, PC’s, Printers, Laptops, mobile devices etc
  • Supporting with end use software, Microsoft 365, Adobe Suite, ERP, Workforce Management, Payroll etc
  • Problem solving on a wide range of technical issues, both remotely and face to face
  • Help maintain Network security, including switches, routers, WIFI access points, cabling and VPN’s
  • Support of internal and external communications including internet access, email, remote users

Skills/Knowledge/Experience

  • 2 years’ experience of working in a similar role
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Microsoft 365
  • Computer networking
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, Networking, IT security, Telecoms and ERP Systems would be an advantage
  • Team Player
  • Highly organised
