Senior Operations Professional

A highly experienced and immediately available senior operations professional with a strong background in manufacturing, logistics, and site management across multiple sectors including animal feed, biomass energy, and FMCG. Brings over two decades of leadership experience in operational strategy, health & safety, quality assurance, and environmental compliance.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Extensive experience managing 24/7 manufacturing operations, including large-scale feed mills and production facilities.
• Proven leadership of cross-functional teams (up to 85 staff), with a focus on efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Strong background in logistics and transport management, including fleet oversight and warehouse operations.
• Skilled in ERP systems (SAP, Workday), CapEx/OpEx budgeting, and KPI reporting.
• Deep understanding of regulatory compliance including HACCP, ISO14001, ISO50001, UFAS, and VMD standards.
• Facilities and environmental management, including permit compliance and sustainability initiatives.
• Trade union relationship management and HR oversight including recruitment, training, and policy development.
• Experience in strategic planning, tender writing, and contract negotiation.
• Holds multiple professional certifications including NEBOSH, IOSH, HACCP, Lean Six Sigma, and SMSTS.
• Strong technical knowledge in feed production processes and quality assurance systems.
