Job description
Job Title: Dispatch Administrator
Job Type: Permanent, Salaried
Location: Castle Bromwich
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £30,784
Role Purpose
To provide all-encompassing admin support to the operational function team with a primary focus to the dispatch operation and associated team and procedures.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Daily operational process flow to achieve internal and customer set KPIs.
- Answer, assist and/or direct incoming phone calls & emails.
- Process supplier returns, ensuring all relevant parties are updated.
- Uphold all quality, environment, and health & safety policies.
- Supporting any quality, environment and health & safety investigations, audits, etc.
- Facilitate a number of operational processes inc. despatch, part allocation & pallet process
- Work with couriers, collection drivers and warranty centre team
- Supporting any quality, environment and health & safety investigations, audits, etc.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Previous administration experience, computer literate and highly proficient in Excel, with the ability to analyse and understand a varied range of data in different formats
- Experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing role
- Ability to manage and deliver operational processes and key work streams
- History of delivering management information and reports to strict schedules
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate ideas in a range of formats
- Ability to work with data and produce concise reports for senior management
- Ability to engage with cross-functional key stakeholders at all levels of the business
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail, able to multi-task and prioritise work.
Other Information
- The successful applicant will be comfortable working either in an office environment or in shop floor areas supporting the management team.
- Although there are scheduled hours of work, flexibility is required to meet business needs.
